Mr. Tom Craig

Mr. Craig has over twenty eight years professional experience in the oil and gas industry developing expertise in Engineering, Planning, Economics, Geology, Negotiations and Communications.
Mr. Craig started his career in 1978 with the Imperial Oil Company in Calgary.
His work with Imperial took him from the deepwater of the Flemish Pass and the Baffin Basin on the East Coast to the ice of the Beaufort sea and in Norway.
In 1985, as a Development Engineer, he worked several successful delineation and development programs in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Having worked in the geology, engineering and field operations aspects of the business he next moved on to the business aspects of the industry in 1988, working first as a business analyst, then senior negotiator with Imperial oil.
In 1993, he accepted a position with PanCanadian to work Development Engineering with their wildcat Exploration Ventures teams.
Mr. Craig helped build PanCanadian's frontier and international exploration divisions until the merger of the Company with AEC in 2002 when EnCana was formed.
Mr. Craig was appointed Vice President, Planning and Evaluations for EnCana's Offshore and International Operations Division at the formation of the company and has also served as the Vice President, Development Engineering for EnCana's International New Ventures Exploration division, North America Frontiers and Europe.
Mr. Craig is currently on an executive exchange with the Federal Government, working in Ottawa with Northern Affairs assisting and advising the Department on a variety of files including International Polar Year and Regulatory Improvement.
