The Pardeeville district hired Craig in September of 2003.His basketball team went 12-9 last season and has a 10-2 record so far this season.

Prior to coming to Pardeeville, Craig was with the Horicon School District where he taught for two years, was an assistant basketball coach for a season and a head coach for one year, said current Horicon coach Roger Schliewe, who called Craig "a great guy."

Pardeeville Athletic Director Phil Kamrath said Craig also spent time with the Fond du Lac boys basketball program.

According to Columbia County officials, Sgt.Rich Hoege of the Sheriff's Department arrested Craig at 1:10 p.m. Friday after a detective and a deputy interviewed the coach.

Craig was released from the jail at about 4 p.m. Friday after he posted a ,250 cash bond, a jail clerk said.

A man who answered the phone at Craig's home said he was Craig's brother but declined to comment on the arrest.The man said that Craig was out of town for the weekend.
