Kevin Craft, a poet and EvCC English instructor, is an organizer of the event. It's a coup for the college and another sign that Everett is coming of age.

A student of Plumly's at Maryland, Craft later earned his master's degree at the University of Washington and will teach this summer at the UW's center in Rome.
