    Dr.Barb Crabbe is a 1989 graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.Dr. Crabbe completed an internship on large animal medicine and surgery at Washington State University.She also did graduate work on Biomechanics at UC Davis, where she studied patterns of locomotion in exercising horses.Currently, she operates her own private equine practice in Portland, with an emphasis on performance horses.Her primary area of interest is in the area of equine lameness and gait analysis, especially as it relates to the dressage horse.

    Dr. Crabbe is a contributing editor to Horse and Rider Magazine and a frequent contributor and member of the advisory board for the Dressage Today Magazine.Her articles have won numerous American Horse Publication awards.She is an avid Dressage rider and competitor, a graduate with distinction from the USDF-L judges program, and serves on the Oregon Dressage Society Board of Directors.
