    North Shore-based Cohera Medical Inc. has named William Cotter vice president of manufacturing, a newly created position for the life sciences start-up.

    Cotter joins Cohera from Closure Medical Corp., a Raleigh, N.C.-based Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) subsidiary that is the maker of liquid skin adhesive Dermabond.

    Before his ten years as Closure's vice president of operations, Cotter served as vice president of operations at Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur Inc.
