   Janet Diehl Corwin, Accompanist for the Shawnee Choral Society since its formation, is the Assistant to the Chair of the University of Kansas Department of Music and Dance. Janet also serves as Accompanist for the University of Kansas Chamber Choir and for the Lawrence Women's Chorale, as well as teaching piano students in her home studio. She earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Kansas and is certified to teach Music, Kindergarten through Grade 12. Before returning to the University of Kansas in 2004, she served as Staff Accompanist for eight years at Topeka High School, and for five years at Lincoln High School in Nebraska. Janet has also accompanied the Topeka Symphony Chorus, the Topeka Opera Society, and the Kansas Choral Directors Association Women's Honor Choir.
