   Leading the AMERICASMART ALPHA launch is industry veteran Charles Corvi, who assumes the newly created position of Project Manager responsible for exhibitor sales and customer service, together with a soon-to-be-named Sales Manager. Corvi will report to Lawton Hall, Senior Vice President of AMERICASMART Apparel Sales.
   
   “The ALPHA concept is designed to have national appeal for buyers and sellers alike. Chuck's diverse and deep-seated experience in the menswear industry will be invaluable to our customers as he lead's the charge to the exciting September launch and beyond,” says Hall. “Buyers can expect to see resources new to Atlanta as well as exhibitors with whom they have long done business; while exhibitors can expect to open new accounts, form new relationships and network with established clientele.”
   
   Corvi's career began as co-founder of Awarehouse, a U.S.-based regional chain of fine clothing stores, specializing in unisex apparel. After selling his interest in the company in 1972, he then founded Charley's Leather, a mall-based retail leather store.
   
   In 1984, Corvi sold Charleyâ€s Leather and began working with Union Bay Sportswear as a Regional Manager in New York. While with Union Bay, he helped start a new division tagged “Reunion,” and later, headed-up sales for J. Rigginsâ€"under Union Bay.
   
   Bugle Boy Industries was Corvi's most recent turn in the apparel industry. He spent 10 years working with Bugle Boy as its Southeast Regional Sales Manager, and as its National Manager for domestic products and sales.
