Mr. Minnie Frances Cortum

Mr. Cortum taught vocational agriculture to G.I. classes for a couple years then farmed in the Wellman community until retiring in 1988.

He was a 1942 graduate of Wellman High School and received a degree in agronomy from Iowa State University in 1952.He was a World War II Navy veteran, serving from 1942 to 1945.After retiring, he moved to Washington, then in 1998 to Wayland.He was a former member of the Charles Polton American Legion Post and was a member of Richmond AMVETS.
