   Cynthia has been a manager with Smith, Bucklin for three years and has over fourteen years of convention and tradeshow experience. Before joining SBA she worked at TTI, a company that created and managed shows in the technology industry. As Show Director she had overall responsibility for 12 – 15 annual conferences and expositions in the U.S., Europe and Australia. She has extensive experience managing international events, varying in size from 50 – 3000 attendees. One of her responsibilities at TTI included the launch of their European office in the U.K., where she oversaw all conference operations from their London office.
   
   Before TTI, Cynthia managed the meetings division of Karass International, the world's largest negotiation training company. She is a very strong negotiator and has done considerable contract work with centers, decorators, hotels and vendors. In her three years at SBA she has worked very closely with several Boards of Directors and Conference Committees and is very familiar with their structure and needs.
   
   Cynthia has a BA in political science from Southern Illinois University.
