   Since 1998, Susan Cortese has been an independent sales and marketing consultant to small and medium-sized businesses, primarily in the financial and information services sectors. Prior to that she was with Experian Information Solutions (formerly TRW Information Services) for 14 years, serving the last three as vice president for national account sales and consulting services. Susan is a 1982 honors graduate with a bachelor's degree in speech pathology and audiology from the University of Virginia. She joined the Hospice Foundation board in 2004.
