Alfredo Cortazar

Growing up in Mexico, Alfredo Cortazar, a Mayan Indian descendant, observed the Indian methodology of treating pain with natural plant extracts.These observations coupled with a passion to leave a legacy motivated Alfredo to begin the challenging task of formulating a 100% natural, therapeutic medicine for pain.

After graduating from the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico City with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Alfredo gained extensive knowledge of skin care and cosmetic formulation while working as a research chemist for several major U.S. cosmetic firms.In January 1975 he founded C & S Laboratories, which later became Sombra Cosmetics.

Based on current growth, we are optimistic Sore No More will become a universally accepted member of the alternative medicine family, and that Alfredo Cortazar will indeed leave a legacy to his Mayan Indian heritage sharing the wisdom of the Earth with all of us.
