Bruce Corsone, founder and CEO of Roaring Records and Corsone Entertainment, started his ambitious career at the ripe young age of 16. While he attended the H.S. of MUSIC & ART in Manhattan, he first started working with the music industry in the form of street promotions under the care of CTA (Creative Talent Associates), who promoted for the likes of Twisted Sister and Zebra and numerous local top drawing acts.

He started arranging shows for bands at Manhattan & Westchester premiere clubs such as CBGB'S, Max's Kansas City, Limelight, The Left Bank, The Rising Sun, R.T. Firefly's, and The Bottom Line. He was also at that time booking and shooting rock videos for Telerock Video Productions and producing a Manhattan cable TV show at SIR Studios.

Bruce spent some time working in Jamacia from 1984-1987, there he enriched himself in the reggae style of music.
    ...
In September of 1992, Bruce and his family relocated to a bright, new & "Windy City", Chicago. In the vigorous transformation of landscape in his surroundings he was also developing an understanding for the change in music as he started listening to bands like Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana. He noted the scene was making a fundamental shift in formats, from the once highly popular musicians music of the 80's to the surfacing music from Seattle Grunge emerging on the scene in '92.

By 1993 he was working with places like the Forest Park Playhouse to bring in acts like Dirtmen, Well of Souls, and 3 Dudes and a Dead Chick. He was also coordinating shows for The Metro, Double Door and other area venues. He then left managing numerous bands because he grew tired of the monotony of dealing with the ride to the city's venues at that time.

He was then introduced, via an ad agency, to entrepreneurs who were investing into a club in Lemont IL formerly called Garrisons. They brainstormed names for a time, and then Bruce, Donnie & Jay came up with the club's eventual name, "SideTracked". Being a manager, he created the position of talent buyer and sound tech with the western burbs hottest sound system at the club.
