   Terry K. Corson has been named Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of this operation , and will begin early next year managing the process of transitioning from a government-operated railroad. Corson had been Superintendent of the locomotive department for the Wisconsin Central System since 1996. He was a member of the EWS acquisition team , as well as providing internal consulting advice in Australia , the Middle East and New Zealand. Corson , 49 , is a recognized emergency response specialist and has lectured widely in this area. He began his railroad career in 1967 as a switchman and joined Wisconsin Central at its start-up in 1987 as Mechanical Superintendent of the car department.
