Mr. Thomas A. Corso is responsible for the leasing and development of retail properties throughout Florida and the southeast. In addition, Mr. Corso serves many functions related to leasing, development and sales of retail property as well as third party brokerage activities which include site selection and lease negotiations. Mr. Corso joined Charles Wayne Properties in December of 1993.
Prior to joining Charles Wayne Properties, Inc., Mr. Corso was Leasing Director with the Sofran Group. Responsibilities included all aspects of retail leasing of multi-anchored shopping centers. When IRT Properties, an Atlanta-based real estate investment trust, acquired Sofran Group's retail portfolio, Mr. Corso continued as Director of Leasing and has acted on behalf of such firms as SouthTrust Bank, BankAmerica, John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance, Sun Trust Bank, Compass Bank, Publix, Winn-Dixie, Eckerds, Walgreens, Home Depot, Unilever Corporation, Circuit City, Best Foods and numerous others.
From 1983-1987 Mr. Corso was based in Tampa as the Florida west coast representative for the E & J Gallo Winery, responsible for the Gallo Wine distribution to wholesale distributorship with direct sales to Publix, Winn-Dixie and Kash & Karry.
Mr. Corso is an honor graduate of West Virginia University College of Business and Economics, receiving a B.S. in 1983.
Mr. Corso is an Eagle Scout, an active member of the International Council for Shopping Centers, The Volusia County Association for Responsible Development, Economic Development Commission of Mid-Florida, First United Methodist Church, and West Virginia University Alumni Association and is involved in numerous charitable and civic organizations. -
