Richard Corsini was born in Los Angeles and studied art and architecture in the United States and Europe. He received a Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He established his own firm in Los Angeles in 1993. Mr. Corsini has worked on numerous urban design and planning projects for both public and private clients and his architectural experience ranges from a U.S. embassy to restaurants, interiors, retail and single- and multi-family residential projects, and custom furniture and lighting. His work has been published and exhibited nationally and internationally.
Over the last ten years Mr. Corsini has maintained a parallel academic career, with past teaching appointments at the Boston Architectural Center, Cal Poly Pomona, and Woodbury University. He has been a guest critic at USC, SCI-Arc, UCLA, and Harvard.
Mr. Corsini has also organized and curated several exhibitions, most recently "Architecture in Balance: Seven Southern California Architects" at the Pasadena Armory Center for the Arts. He is currently a lecturer at Cal Poly Pomona. -
