   LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 24, 2002--Emergency Filtration Products, Inc. (EFP) (OTCBB:EMFP - News) today announced the addition of its sixth board member.
   
   Mr. Frank Corsini accepted the position and has been approved by EFP's existing Board of Directors. The Company will add a seventh and final member to its Board in the near future.
   
   Mr. Corsini has acquired extensive international business and finance experience over his career. He is currently an executive with ION Capital Partners Bear Stearns, San Francisco, Calif., specializing in private banking and asset management.
   
   Prior to Bear Stearns, Mr. Corsini has held positions as: CEO at NXT Strategies, Tiburon, Calif.; CEO of Conversient Technologies, Singapore and San Mateo, Calif.; Co-Founder of Zowi Corporation (American Express Cobalt Card), San Francisco, Calif.; Founder of Intelligent Choice Refreshment Company, San Francisco, Calif.; President/COO of Vitafort International Corporation, San Francisco, Calif., founder and CEO of California Healthcare Technologies in Los Angeles. His international experience includes serving as Managing Director of Vantage, SA, London, England and Director of International Market Development for N-Ren International, Brussels, Belgium.
   
   In addition to private sector experience, Mr. Corsini also served as Assistant to the Director, Office of Business, Research and Analysis U.S. Department of Commerce and as a White House Staff member.

   Frank Corsini, iCEO, has an international political and business career that ranges from economist at the Department of Commerce and member of President Ford's White House Staff, to Managing Partner of Vantage International, a business development group in London, England.
   
   More recently, Mr. Corsini was CEO of Converscient Technologies, for which he was recruited by a consortium of Singapore investors to restructure Friendme.com, a Delaware Corporation.
   
   Prior to that he was co-founder of the American Express Cobaltcard where he spearheaded the development process, strategic alliances, and raised the initial capital.
   
   Prior to Cobaltcard, he was President/COO of Vitafort Corporation, a nutritional research and product development company, and was founder and CEO of California Health Technologies which developed and patented age inhibiting drugs. Mr. Corsini sold the company to Cooper Companies [NYSE] in 1989.
   
   Mr. Corsini holds a BA in Economics from Georgetown University and a BS degree in Psychology from Clark University.
