Annie CORSINI-KARAGOUNI is a greek origin Swiss lady.Annie obtained a licence in mathematics at University of Athens (1976), after which she moved to Switzerland for post graduate studies.Annie received a 3d cycle diploma in Astronomy and Astrophysics in 1982 (Geneva Observatory, Sauverny).Annie also studied Data processing science.After taking several courses at IBM training program, on project management, computing languages, she worked as a programmer and as a senior analyst in Information Systems for diffrent financial Institutions in Switzerland.In the last 12 years,Annie has been working as a DBA (data base administrator) specialised in DB2, MS-sql, Sybase, Oracle and similar data base products.Annie has also been active in various other human rights and social organizations around the world.Annie is an active member of BPW club (Business and professionnal women) an NGO based in Geneva, where she is living with her family of three.Annicontinue to play a great role in organization working to improve life for people living in the less developed countries around the world.Annie has worked with the Association Avenir par l'Ecole/Burkina Faso, ( AAE), the Association Bleu Ciel (Rwanda), Sentinelles, an organization active in saving starving children around the world.From time to time, Annie volunteer herself to collect educational materials for schools in Africa, including a primary school in Kinshasa (RDC), and Kenya.Annie loves particularly the Maasai culture because she believes that real human richness (wealth) in the world comes from mutual, multicultural contribution.
