   Tony Corsetti, 52, construction director for DNA developer Canderel-Stoneridge Equity Group Inc., says cold and wet weather can be hard on construction workers, but that union rules protect all his men.
   
   "If it just gets too cold, they know they can go home," he says.
   ...
   Corsetti says construction timetables are set up well in advance, taking weather into consideration, and that the two DNA buildings , with a total of 546 units , have had no major setbacks.
   
   He adds that the unpredictable temperatures this month have had his crews listening to the radio every morning.
   
   "That's how they know what to wear," he says. "They listen to the radio or TV and catch the temperatures."
   
   The short warm spell was an incredible mood lifter for all crews, and Corsetti says the construction site was transformed.

   Corsetti says construction gear has come a long way over the past two decades, thanks to the booming winter sports industry, which has developed thin but warm clothing.
   
   He also says plastic sheeting, tarps, propane heaters and a determined effort to seal off floors as construction goes skyward have made construction safer and more comfortable.
   
   But he stresses the bottom line is that we all live and work in Canada, a nation of four seasons , and one of them is winter.
