   Gary maintains a diverse practice with a focus on corporate and commercial law. He provides a full range of legal services to corporate clients, advising on all aspects of operations, including financing, contracting, labour and employment issues.
   
   Gary also provides regular counsel to First Nations Communities on aboriginal law issues including economic development, various public policy issues and Band Council governance.
   
   Gary represents clients in commercial and residential property sales and purchases, estate planning, probate and administration and immigration applications.
   
   Gary's experience includes appearances before the Nova Scotia Supreme Court, the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Nova Scotia Utility & Review Board, the Canadian Transportation Agency, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, the Nova Scotia Labour Relations Board and the Nova Scotia Labour Standards Tribunal.
   
   About Gary….
   
   Gary obtained received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington, in 1980. In 1982 he completed a Master of Arts Degree at Dalhousie University and subsequently completed his Bachelor of Laws Degree at the University of New Brunswick in 1985.
   
   Following his articles, he returned to his home in Sydney and joined the law firm of Sampson McDougall. He has been a partner of the firm since 1991 and practices in the areas of business law, residential and commercial property law, civil litigation, employment and labor law, health law, oil & gas law, administrative law, aboriginal and immigration law. Gary lectured for several years at the University College of Cape Breton. Gary is an active member of his community, and devotes considerable time to not for profit and community organizations, including

   Mr. Corsano has served as past president of the Nova Scotia Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and as a member of its national executive committee. He is a member of both the Nova Scotia and the Cape Breton Barristers' Societies.
   
   An active community volunteer, Mr. Corsano is the past president of the Kiwanis Club of Sydney and past secretary of Junior Achievement Cape Breton. He is currently a member of the Board of Governors of the University College of Cape Breton and Commodore of the Royal Cape Breton Yacht Club.
