   The Davis for Congress Campaign has named longtime Western New York television journalist Bruce Corris Communications Director.
   
   Corris, a 27-year veteran of television journalism, most recently served as News Manager at WNYO-TV in Buffalo, where he helped to create WNY's first new television news department in decades. He also served as Executive Producer at WGRZ-TV in Buffalo during a time of unprecedented ratings growth, and began his career at WKBW-TV in Buffalo, where he produced some of the highest-rated newscasts in the nation.
   
   Corris is a Western New York native whose career includes management positions in Miami, St. Louis, Cincinnati, New Orleans, and Providence. He is a multiple Emmy Award winner whose stations have received numerous state and local broadcasting awards. He graduated from Buffalo State College, where he served as an adjunct professor, and currently serves as a media advisor.
