   Joyce Corrington is Vice President of Creative Affairs and a member of the BMP development team which reviews outside pitches and internally generates and develops formats for new shows such as Love Cruise.

   Prior to taking a position with BMP, Joyce, with her late husband, wrote six feature films (Omega Man, Battle for the Planet of the Apes) and published four mystery novels. In addition, they were head writers of 1,149 episodes of daytime serials and three seasons of the syndicated strip Superior Court, for which work they received four Daytime Emmy nominations. She co-produced Decoration Day, a Hallmark Hall of Fame production based on her last husband's novella, which was nominated for an Emmy and won the Christopher Award and the Golden Globe Award for best television dramatic special.
   
   Prior to beginning her writing career, Joyce took a Ph.D. at Tulane University and taught for ten years at Xavier University in New Orleans.
