   While there are numerous places in Westchester County that offer Pilates or yoga or any one of the services offered at Pilates etc., there is no place that offers all of them under one roof, Corrigan said.
   
   The story began 20 years ago, when Corrigan, a former manager of Executive Outplacement in Purchase and a human resources counselor for NYNEX, was first diagnosed with Lyme disease. Seven years ago, she was told the disease had led to fibromyalgia, a muscle disorder that causes fatigue and joint pain.
   
   She said she soon became unhappy with the painkillers her doctors were prescribing and began to look into alternative methods to control the pain. "The medications didn't really help, so I began to rely on exercise, vitamins, proper nutrition and even massage and meditation to break the cycle of pain," she said.
   
   Eventually, that search led her to the Pilates exercise system, where she said she found a measure of success. Before long, she was giving lessons herself, first from her home, and then from a studio in Central Valley.

   The building was originally laid out for offices, so some adaptations had to be made, Corrigan said. "We did what we could with the space we had," she said.
   
   On the plus side, the space has made them convenient for commuters, she said.
   
   Corrigan continues to work as a Pilates instructor, while DiCairano, an accountant, has moved her seasonal tax preparation business from Poughkeepsie to the ground floor of the center.

   Corrigan said her experiences looking for treatments for her condition is what prompted them to offer the widest variety of services possible. They now employ 20 people, from fitness instructors to reflexology practitioners, she said.
