Kevin E. Corrigan Staff Vice President
Experience
Mr. Corrigan joined the staff of AvAirPros in 1994 and is based in the Atlanta office. He is currently leading Delta Air Line's Corporate Real Estate Restructuring Project Office, responsible for right sizing Delta's system-wide real estate portfolio by reducing footprint, jettisoning unnecessary facilities, and eliminating debt. Delta has a company-wide target of $3B of annual spending reductions, which includes $100M of cost reductions from CRE.
In addition, Mr. Corrigan serves as the finance director for the Airline Master Plan Team (AMPT) at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The Airport is in the process of a $6.7B capital expansion program that includes a new runway, international terminal, CONRAC facility, and significant refurbishment and expansion of the existing airport physical plant. He is responsible for representing the airline's interests on all business, financial, and funding matters including lease negotiations with the Airport.
Mr. Corrigan managed the business and financial affairs of the Midway Airlines' Terminal Consortium (MATCO) as part of a $900 Million Midway Terminal Development Program. MATCO was formed by the Signatory Airlines to design, procure, construct, install, operate, and manage the airline equipment and fuel system components of the project.
Previously, Mr. Corrigan provided business and management services for the Terminal One development project at JFK International Airport. Mr. Corrigan was responsible for the development and implemention of the concessions program and assisted in securing contract carriers for the Terminal. On a day to day basis he was responsible for project insurance administration, budget analysis, invoice tracking and payment, cost reporting, contract management and support services for the start-up of the Terminal One Management Organization. This role required that Mr. Corrigan prepare ad hoc capital cost and financial analysis of facilities and equipment acquisitions necessary for the new terminal and to negotiate with vendors contracts, leases, and operating agreements for the same.
Mr. Corrigan participated in the development and implementation of the Executive Director's Office to manage and operate Terminal One. In this capacity, he provided strategic financial and business management services including management and oversight of the concessions program, non-airline revenue development, and negotiation support for the various terminal and ramp management operating agreements.
