Environmental Chemist/Regulatory Specialist
With previous experience working as a regulator for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), an environmental manager for an industrial facility, and a project manager for an engineering consulting firm, Gail Corrigan formed Corrigan Consulting, Inc. in May 1986.Ms. Corrigan now has over 20 years of experience and is well known in Texas for her hazardous waste regulatory expertise.Under contract with Texas A&M University Engineering Extension Services, she developed and instructed two Hazardous Waste Management Courses on a monthly basis throughout Texas for five years.Ms. Corrigan has directed the company in completing over 500 projects for a wide variety of clients, providing quality control to ensure client satisfaction and setting the management philosophy to ensure a good work environment for our staff.
She has directed a wide variety of site investigations and remedial actions at industrial, commercial and Superfund sites.She has directed and provided litigation support on hundreds of Environmental Site Assessments (ESA's) and serves on the ASTM E-50 Committee on developing the ESA Standards.She assisted the City of Houston to develop a specialized ESA standard for infrastructure work and has developed a standard format for conducting ESA's of linear projects for Houston METRO.Ms. Corrigan has also directed NEPA environmental analyses in support of many projects funded by local, state and federal government agencies.
In 1985, Ms. Corrigan founded the Texas Hazardous Waste Management Society, and served as the President during the first year, growing the organization to over 400 members.She continued to serve on the Board of Directors from 1986 to 1990.In 1993 to 1994, Ms. Corrigan served on the Professional Certification Task Force for the Hazardous Waste Action Coalition (HWAC), a coalition of the American Consulting Engineers Council (ACEC).She was then nominated to serve as the first small business owner to serve on the HWAC Board of Directors in 1995.Ms. Corrigan is a regular speaker at conferences, professional meetings, universities and civic organizations.

Ms. Corrigan has published several comprehensive regulatory compliance manuals registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as the "Library of Environmental Compliance", including "Hazardous Waste Compliance Plan", and "Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan".
