   I sit drinking the last sip of a frozen mudslide as I write, listening to the sounds of a pinball machine around the corner. The only difference is, I'm not at a bar or some trendy coffee house; I'm at work. Being away from a corporate setting for over a year, trying to break into the acting arena (i.e. waiting tables) left me with a sick feeling when going on my first interview with a creative agency. But after the initial meeting with the current advertising agency I'm employed with, I knew I wasn't in for a stuffy corporate setting again. I thought I might have "lost it," my creative edge that is, but I've found it's just like riding a bike.

   Gail Corrigan is public relations executive for PFS Marketwyse, an advertising, communications and production firm in Totowa, NJ. Born with a love of writing, Gail graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Journalism from Montclair State University, Upper Montclair, NJ. Gail heads up the public relations department at PFS Marketwyse with a creative team of marketing and public relations specialists who strategize to gain brand awareness for clients and publicize their national/international efforts.
   
   Gail also attended The Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City for acting and has appeared as a background actor on, "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit," "The Yards," "Mary and Rhoda" as well as the MTV Video Music Awards. Waiting tables as a 'starving artist' was only practice for her dream life as a professional actress, but the interpersonal skills from years of putting on a smile instead developed her into a consummate PR professional.
