04/21/2006 - Erin Corrigan is in her first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Golden Flashes, working with the middle distance runners. She returns to the program where she contributed to an Outdoor MAC Championship in 2005.
In her two-year career with Kent State, Corrigan is third on Kent States women's all-time indoor list in the 400 meters (55.39), a record that she set in 2005. In the same year, she was a member of the 4x400 indoor relay and distance medley relay teams that hold the second fastest times in school history (3:43.87, 11:24.65). Corrigan also was a part of the 2005 4x400 relay team that qualified for the Outdoor NCAA Mid-East Regional Championships, setting to Kent State records that rank second and third on the all-time list (3:40.78, 3:41.01).
Before joining the Golden Flashes, Corrigan was a national qualifier for Cuyahoga Community College in the 400 and 800, as well as for the 4x800, 4x400 and 4x100-meter relay teams. She was a four time all-league selection at Holy Name High School.
Corrigan graduated from Kent State in 2005 with a degree in business management and is a native of Middleburg Heights, Ohio.
