   Corriere, 38, is an attorney with Haber, Corriere and Backenstoe, a Bethlehem law firm.
   
   Corriere was council's vice president from 2000 through 2002. He serves as solicitor to several public bodies including the Lehigh Township Planning Commission, and is a former assistant public defender for the county. He is the son of Donald Corriere, a former district attorney and county commissioner.

   Corriere is the son of former Northampton County District Attorney Donald B. Corriere and a lifelong resident of Lower Saucon.
   
   He has a law degree from Dickinson School of Law and is an associate in the law firm of Haber, Corriere and Backenstoe, solicitor to the Hellertown Police Pension Board and Lehigh Township Planning Commission and assistant solicitor for Hellertown.
   
   Corriere ran unsuccessfully for Northampton County judge in 2001.
