   BETH D. CORRIEA was admitted to the bar in 2000. Ms. Corriea's practice encompasses employment law , representing public entities in complex litigation , and insurance law.
   
   Ms. Corriea received a Bachelor of Arts degree , suma cum laude , in political science and history from the University of the Pacific on a full softball scholarship , where she received All-American and All-Conference Honors for softball and academics. Additionally , she was invited to try out for the 1996 United States Women's Olympic Softball Team.
   
   Ms. Corriea received her Juris Doctor from the University of California , Los Angeles , in 2000 , ranking in the top one-third of her class. While at UCLA , she received Moot Court Honors in 1998-1999 ; was awarded scholarships for academic achievement in 1998 , 1999 , and 2000 ; served as a staff member and proof reader for the Women's Law Journal ; and received book credits for Goldstein's Child Abuse and Neglect , A Casebook ; and Carbado's , Critical Race Theory.
