According to John Correro , Executive Director of Alumni Affairs , the Alumni Association's Reunion , which is in conjunction with Super Bulldog Weekend , is certainly important for Mississippi State Alumni. It allows them to renew acquaintances with former classmates and to get a sense of what the campus is like now. It's an opportunity ( for alumni ) to come back and have pride in their alma mater..At the slumni reunion website , Correro said this reunion is a chance for ( the alumni ) to return to ( their ) college days and to remember those experiences , to rekindle those friendships , and to relive those memories from days gone by. ( We ) want you to remember , rekindle , and relive..
Approximately 136 alumni and their spouses are expected to arrive for this weekend's reunion. It won't be a bad showing , Correro said. This weekend's reunion will be the first time back for many of the alumni.
A number of activities ‹ in addition to other Super Bulldog Weekend activities ‹ have been planned for the alumni.Registration and open house for the reunion begins today at 10 a.m. at the Butler-Williams Alumni Center lobby.A dinner and dance at the Leo Seal M-Club Center will begin tonight at 6 : 30.
