   Correro grew up in Senatobia attending Senatobia City Schools, where his mother taught for many years. He also attended Northwest Mississippi Community College and Mississippi State University. Following in his father's footsteps, he played football in high school.
   
   After college, Correro went to work for his father, who by that time had his own business doing hotel renovations. "I learned everything I know about construction from my dad," Correro says smiling. The two worked together for many years, traveling all over.
   
   Correro met Julie Phillips, a teacher from Batesville when he was in his 20s, and in 1986 the two were married. She taught school in Senatobia for 13 years, and has had a real estate business for several years.
