Mr. David Correll is in his eighth year as the the Director of Bands at Carter Middle School.He recieved his undergraduate degree in Music Education from East Tennessee State University as well as a graduate degree in Music Education from the University of Tennessee.Before coming to Carter, he served as the Director of Bands at John I Burton High School in Norton, Virginia from 1972-1974; Carroll County High School in Hillsvale, VA, from 1974-1975; Unicoi County High School in Erwin, TN from 1975-77; Graduate Assistant at the University of Tennessee from 1977-1978; Kellam High School in Virginia Beach, VA from 1978-1989; and Halls Middle School in Knoxville, TN from 1989-1999.
