   "There are a lot of people scared about what this is going to do to the neighborhood," said Teresa Correa, a vice president of the Upper Mt. Hope Neighborhood Association.
   
   She said that members of the association will be writing state legislators to express opposition to the project.
   
   While the center would be secure with locks on all entrances, residents fear that such a facility would result in an increase in crime in their neighborhood.
