"By refusing to allow each side to present their arguments in the way they chose, the Philosophy Club was influencing the content of the debate in a way that censored both sides," said Students for Life President Sierra Correa.

Correa said she felt the switch in anti-abortion speakers, which occurred a week before the debate, did not allow the replacement speaker, Angela Martin, enough time to adequately prepare.

"They found a replacement speaker a little over 24 hours before the debate was scheduled to take place, leaving her very little time to prepare, in comparison with the pro-choice side which had had weeks to prepare," Correa said.
