Felipe Corrales, joined the State of Colorado, as the Director for the Mexico Office in June 2000. His international expertise in Economic Development and International Trade is reflected in both his professional experience and educational background. (1989-1990) He initiated his international career as an active intern working in Germany, Switzerland and France as part of the staff of the Internationale Begegung in Gemeinshaftdienstein headquartered in Germany. (1990-1991) He then return to Mexico City, where he worked in the private industry at a Bank named Banca Cremi, developing in several financial branches of the Bank. (1991-1992) He decided to join the Mexican Exporting Bank (Bancomext) as an intern for the Financial Directorate and then for the Export Promotion Directorate. (1993-1996) Mr. Corrales was called by the U.S. Embassy in Mexico to work for the U.S. Department of State at the Regional Administrative Management Center for Latin America and the Caribbean (RAMC) as a Financial Assistant. (1996-2000) The professionalism that Mr. Corrales reflected in the RAMC, caused t at he was called by the Ohio Department of Development Mexico Office, for the opening of the Ohio Mexico Office in Mexico City, being the former Associate Managing Director for the Mexico Office.
Since June 2000, Mr. Corrales is head of the State of Colorado Mexico Office in charged of all the strategic planning and operations to promote Colorado industries, products and services in Mexico and advised all Mexican investors about the great opportunities that Colorado offers in this matter.
(1998) He was also a part time Professor of International Trade at the Universidad Hispano Mexicano in Mexico City. -
