Aideen Corr is the Development Officer for Cruise North West which is a partnership between Derry City Council and Londonderry Port.She has extensive experience in destination marketing and events marketing through her own company EPM in Derry.She has lived abroad (Greece) and has an appreciation of tourist practises outside the UK and Ireland and her involvement with the Special Olympics World Games gave her further exposure to an international audience.

Currently a Harbour Commissioner with the Londonderry Port & Harbour Commissioners, remuneration £5,000 per annum and a Board Member of Northern Ireland Events Company where she receives travel expenses only.Ms Corr has not undertaken any political activity in the last five years.

Aideen Corr, Development Officer with Cruise North West said: "It is unusual to welcome ships at this time of the year and with the bonus of exceptional good weather it attracted a high number of visitors making a trip here to see the ships.

There are four new members of the Commissioners - Alan McClure,the President of Perfecseal and President of Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, Ciaran Mulgrew, the general manager of St. Brendan´s, the Cruise Initiative Officer, Aideen Corr joins the Board with a background in PR and marketing and Cecil Johnston who was on the board of Heyn Shipping and was a director of two of their subsidiary companies.
