   The funhouse attitude starts when you step off the elevator and into the lobby of the new Joe Boxer showroom in Manhattan : crazy mirrors, an undulating, black-and-white striped awning reminiscent of a circus tent and recorded video messages of company chair Nicholas Graham barking, Have you changed today? Is your underwear clean?.
   
   Inside, the showroom is a sea of white space (floor, walls and ceilings) offset by black accents and the occasional brightly colored prop (beach balls, a huge revolving banana). Walls and furniture surfaces are emblazoned with Joe Boxer brand-speak, such as the company's credo : The brand is the amusement park.
