   George Corona grew up in Northern California where he fell in love with hip hop artists Mantronix and Public Enemy, whose astehetic and approach was an ultimate bridge to Sonic Youth, Fugazi, and Northern California punk rock.
   
   After attending NYU in 1997, George transferred to Loyola Marymount University, double majoring in English and Screenwriting.He ultimately found a home as a daytime DJ at KXLU,Los Angeles, bringing a diverse mix of music in the tradition of past KXLU Music Directors Jimmy Tamborello (aka Dntel, The Postal Service) and Elvin Estella (aka DJ Nobody).
   
   George later became the Program Director, and then began and internship at SPECTRE Radio where he eventually became Manager of Radio Promotions, and spent three dedicated years honing the department, leading #1 records from DJ Shadow, Idlewild, Wilco, and more.
   
   An avid fan of left field hip hop and eletronic music, George counts cLOUDDEAD, Lightning Bolt, Sonic Youth, Aphex Twin, and the Boredoms as some his favorite artists.George currently resides in Los Angeles where he recently helped open Fanatic's Los Angeles office.
