This is Stephanie's fifth position in television since her first internship in Houston. She's played many roles in the newsroom. From shooting her own video, to anchoring, she's had a myriad of experiences in the business. The most rewarding and life changing, was during the destructive Hurricane Floyd in eastern North Carolina. The station she was working with went "wall to wall" for seven days bringing the latest life saving information to viewers. As part of the anchor team covering the storm, she told viewers where to find shelter, how to get clean water and how to find relatives. For their efforts the station won a national Edward R. Murrow award for Continuous Coverage of the event.
In April 2006 Stephanie got married and lives with her husband in Charlottesville. With family and friends scattered over the east coast and Virginia she's looking forward to making Central Virginia a permanent home.
