3. Lycangeek: Programming

One of the first sessions of the day was the ".NET for LabVIEW Tutorial", given by Robert Cornwell of G Systems. He covered the basics of the .NET framework, how to access .NET from within LabVIEW and even showed how to access web services, via .NET, inside LabVIEW. At the end was a bit of "see it here" with the new features of Constellation - .NET events and controls.
While Robert did a great job, I have to say the part I was most pleased with was the attendance. The room was packed with people, many of whom were asking questions. This is a good sign that .NET is being used, or at least viewed, as a key technology.
I'm afraid I don't have anything to say about the next session as Robert and I sat and chatted for quite a bit after his presentation.
