   AVON LAKE , OH – Randy F. Cornwell , 63 , of Avon Lake and formerly of Bay Village died Monday September 17 at the Cleveland Clinic following a three-year illness. He was born May 4 , 1938 in Marshall , Michigan and attended Western Michigan College in Kalamazoo , Michigan. He moved to the Avon Lake area from Bay Village a few months ago. Randy was employed as executive vice president of Morrison Printing Inks , Cleveland from 1978 until retiring in 1998. He had previously worked as branch manager for Inmont Corp. in Detroit , Michigan. He was a member of Bay Presbyterian Church , Bay Village where he was a church elder and involved in the Men's Bible Study Group ; a member of P.I.A.N.A. ; Lakewood Country Club , Westlake and Red Tail Country Club , Avon. He enjoyed golfing , cooking and his family.
   
   Mr. Cornwell is survived by his wife of 43 years , Janice ; a daughter , Brenda Prentis of Avon Lake ; a son , Todd Cornwell of Mt. Pleasant , South Carolina ; five grandchildren , Mitchell , Madeline , Mary and Max Prentis and Rebecca Cornwell ; his mother , Marjorie Cornwell of Marshall , Michigan ; and a brother , Alan Cornwell of Marshall , Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father , Wayne Cornwell and two brothers , Ron and Terry Cornwell.
   
   Memorial services will be held at Bay Presbyterian Church , 25415 Lake Rd. Bay Village on Saturday September 22 at 10 : 00am.
