   Elizabeth Ann Cornwall was born in 1969 the Year of the Resurgence on September 17.

   Elizabeth never wanted for anything in her life. Her father was a surgeon at Mass General, one of the top internists in the venerable institution. Her mother was a well known socialite who entertained lavishly and who appeared on her husband's arm during official functions which the well-heeled of the city attended. During her early years, she was doted on by nannies and then sent to the Friend's School for her elementary education. She excelled in school, and was quite popular even at a young age. Elizabeth's teachers always noted that the girl was "a born leader"
   
   When Elizabeth entered her seventh grade year in 1983, she started hanging out with the "wrong crowd". She was the rich girl trying to rebel with the other rich girls. She bought only the purest drugs, the most expensive cigarettes and made it clear that she was in fact born to lead, and not to follow anyone, not even her parents. Lucy and Jonathan, having never had been real parents to their daughter, decided to do as they had always done....find someone else to handle Elizabeth for them.

   After her graduation from Northfield, Elizabeth was accepted into Harvard where she studied graphic design. In this time, she moved back to the Boston/Cambridge area where she entered Court life formally. She was named Baroness her Sophomore year and was courted formally by Paul Sheehan, a House Liam Sidhe. They were together for a little over a year, when they decided to break the relationship off. She then spent her time concerning herself with her studies both at college and court. After graduation, Elizabeth was given enough money by her family to set up her own design studio on Newbury Street, the most fashionable business district in the city. With a nice investment portfolio to ensure that she would never have to live a manner to which she was not accustomed, her studio bloomed as she became a darling of the Boston court. As the years passed, her natural charm and instinct gave way to true political savvy gained through years at the court. Lady Elizabeth saw both her court influence and business grow and florish. A number of years passed since Elizabeth had been given a substantial position on the royal Council, and she began to chafe at the bit. Due to the graciousness of Peraniya, leige of the Duchy of Pewter, she was offered the opportunity to rule over her own Duchy.....in Seattle. The Duchy of the Sound includes all of the Seattle-Tacoma area including the Olympic Peninsula. She grasped at it, taking the chance that she always wanted. And with that, she packed up what she would need with the help of her assistant, Avery Manchester, and headed out to Seattle to start her new life. She was given the title of Duchess and awarded with the property of an estate in Snoqualmie, called Cascading Shadows.
