Kent Cornish, vice president and general manager of Wichita TV stations KSAS and KMTW, has been named the new president and executive director of the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.
Cornish has worked at KSAS and KMTW since 2001. He has also worked at KTKA TV and WIBW TV in Topeka.
He replaces Harriet Lange at the KAB, who has been the organization's executive director for 25 years.
Cornish begins his new duties at the KAB Jan. 2.

He replaces Harriet Lange, who is retiring at the end of the year after 25 years with the statewide trade association. Cornish will begin his new job Jan. 2.
