   Joyce Cornish e-mail: jcornish@georgianc.on.ca Joyce has been working at Georgian College since 1985. For several years she worked as a counsellor and life skills coach in Georgian's Futures Program. Primarily she has worked with students and prospective students on the Barrie campus in the Counselling department. Joyce did her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario. Later, when her children were teenagers, she earned a Masters degree from the University of Toronto in Adult Education and Counselling. This was followed by a 2 year internship in Individual, Marital and Family Therapy. Joyce is now a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a Parent Effectiveness leader, a qualified teacher of PAIRS, a course that teaches relationship skills. Because of her own life experience Joyce has a particular interest in mature students and enjoys the challenge of helping people create relationships that are a source of pleasure.
