Amanda Cornish - Conductor, Concert Winds
Amanda L. Cornish received her Bachelors Degree of Music in Music Education from the University of Kentucky. During her years at the University of Kentucky she was a member of the UK Tuba & Euphonium Ensemble, where she studied under the direction of Dr. Harold "Skip" Gray. She also performed in other groups such as the UK Women's Choir, UK Concert Band, and UK Marching Band. Ms.Cornish held various offices in organizations, such as CMENC, Sigma Alpha Iota, and the International Tuba/Euphonium Association ( ITEA).
Currently, Ms.Cornish is the Director of Bands at Kammerer Middle School where she teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th grade concert bands, as well as jazz band, percussion ensemble, and pep band.
