Susan Corning is Founding Director of the Academy for International Health Philanthropy (AIHP), and works internationally leading strategic partnerships and projects.She has held senior executive positions in the human and animal health industries, and in the philanthropic sector.Prior to establishing the AIHP, Susan was the Deputy Chief Executive of the International Federation of Health Funds, a worldwide association of organisations engaged in the funding and delivery of independent healthcare.She has also been involved in the support of humanitarian relief efforts, and has led the United Kingdom establishment of Project CURE, an international medical relief organisation.

In addition to BA and MSc qualifications-which span biology and ethology, Susan Corning is a veterinary surgeon, and leads international projects in animal health and welfare.She has held positions as the Veterinary and Public Health Advisor for the International Fund for Animal Welfare, and as the Regional Development Director of southern Africa, for Shell International Animal and Public Health.Her experience in developing countries, along with her interest in human and animal health, has motivated her efforts to foster corporate social opportunities and global philanthropic partnerships.Susan has produced many scientific, technical and strategic reports and papers on all areas within her distinguished career.
