Andrew Cornicello rejoined the Valiant family in December of 2006 as the Assistant Athletic Trainer.
Cornicello, a certified athletic trainer, assists in evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and injury prevention for all 15 Manhattanville athletic teams while completing his graduate degree in Exercise Science at CUNY Queens.
Prior to being hired on at Manhattanville, Cornicello worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at CUNY Queens.There, Cornicello assisted in overseeing athletic training for 14 Division II teams, assisted in the rehabilitation of injured athletes, coordinated yearly medical exams and provided daily coverage of athletic events.
A 2004 graduate of Manhattanville, Cornicello played four years on the Valiant lacrosse team, serving as captain as a junior and senior.While not on the field, Cornicello spent three years as a student trainer for the Valiants.
After graduation, Cornicello spent two seasons as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Westchester Wildfire of the United States Basketball League, a team coached by former New York Knicks guard John Starks.
