Lois's banking career began 35 years ago.When the Long Island Savings Bank merged with Astoria Federal Savings, Lois continued to work for Astoria Federal Savings at the Levittown branch. Lois has been a member of the Levittown Chamber of Commerce for 15 years.She served as the Chamber's vice president for three years and has been an active board member for twelve years.As Chairperson of the Fund Raising Committee, Lois organizes and oversees the annual Memorial Day Festival as well as the annual Installation Dinner Dance and Networking Party.She is an active participant in all of the Chamber's many functions and activities.A recipient of the 2001 and 2002 Levittown Chamber of Commerce's President's Award, Lois also received their 2002 Community Service Award. Lois is also Fund Raising Chairperson for the Island Trees School to Career Program and is also a member of the Levittown Kiwanis Club.When asked about her many awards, Lois will tell you that her real reward comes from working with the people of the Levittown community.
