   John is the Co-ordinator of Heeley City Farm but is seconded to SET for a few hours each week. He provides essential management support, particularly in relation to SET's funding. John is also involved in many other local initiatives, such as the Heeley Development Trust, Sheffield Environmental Consortium and Heeley Millennium Park.

He is a visiting lecturer in Community Economic Development at Sheffield Hallam University.

   John Le Corney has been involved in the voluntary and community sector for over 20 years as a volunteer and co-ordinator of Heeley City Farm, development manager of Sheffield Environmental Training, development worker for Heeley Development Trust and development worker for Sheffield Rebuild. He is also a visiting lecturer in community economic development at Sheffield Hallam University.
   
   John is committed to creating jobs for local people - particularly using environmental industries such as recycling, energy conservation, landscaping, food production - and supporting community management of projects.
   
   He is a director of a number of organisations including Sheffield Community Enterprise Development Unit and IMBY. He chairs Sheaf Valley Single Regeneration Budget Local Management Board and is involved with South Yorkshire Objective 1.
