A native of Norfolk , Mrs. Cornett was a graduate of Maury High School. She was a member of Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel , and a former member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
The widow of Charles E. Cornett , she is survived by a daughter , Patricia Landau and husband , Don of Deltaville , Va. ; two sons , Mike Cornett of Virginia Beach and John Cornett and wife , Cheryl of Chesapeake ; three brothers , Melvin Decker and wife , Sarah of Norfolk , Al Decker and wife , Shirley of Norfolk and Robert Decker and wife , Sherry of Percyville , Va. ; and four grandchildren , Travis , Shona , Rebecca and Ryan. She was predeceased by two sisters , Louise Miller and Marquerite Nichols and three brothers , Frank , George and Charlie Decker.
