Kristen Cornett

Kristen Cornett recently joined Kentucky Orthopedic Rehab Team (KORT) as athletic trainer and physical therapy technician at the Nicholasville clinic, located at 977 S. Main St.

Cornett is the certified athletic trainer for East Jessamine High School, providing game and practice coverage for all sports.In addition, she will work in the PT clinic assisting patients with their physical therapy programs and staff physical therapists where needed.

She is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with B.S. degree in physical education with an emphasis on athletic training, and holds an M.E. D. (master's in education) from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Ala. Prior to joining KORT, Cornett worked as a physical therapy assistant in Daphne, Ala., and as athletic trainer for Daphne High School.
